3 16 Thick Steel Rear Frame Braces for all years 2009 through 2022 Polaris Sportsman XP, SP models 550 850 1000 and Highlifter 850 1000. These braces will add additional support to the rear A-arm mounts to reduce frame flex and potential fatigue from aggressive riding and or potential accidents incidents. This is a must-have bolt-on modification for peace of mind while riding racing.Â
Beware of lesser Bolt-on Brace kits. Â Industry-standard for mechanical shear point braces is 1.5X thickness of the original welded mounts since your using a mechanical tie (opposite side bolt) to carry the load. Â We also include longer metric 10.9 flanged zinc plated bolts in our kit that will carry that load plus still keep your factory nylock nuts fully engaged to keep you suspension components fully secured as designed by factory with 2-3 threads showing when installed.
An additional 10 mm lower holes are added if you choose to drill & bolt for additional support. I would advise with your local Polaris dealer about the warranty before the drilling frame.
