Description
This is an upgrade for the nonlighted headlight switch found on 2022+ Pioneer 1000s and 1000-6 machines.
Some 2022 and 2023 Pioneer 1000 models come with a headlight switch that is not lighted, making it impossible to find in the dark. Here, we provide a solution by providing a rewired switch that will plug into the 4-pin connector on these units.Â
It is plug-n-play, but you must provide a common ground for one wire to function.

Instructions:
– Disconnect old switch,Â
– Plug in retrofitted switch.
– Green wire needs to be grounded.ÂGetting the switch out is a task. Some reported being able to work it out top and bottom with a skinny screwdriver or metal shim. Others say it requires the removal of the dash panel, which is a J.O.B.Â
